In 2015  I was commissioned to paint a series of artworks for the Parkes Shire Council for the Vibrancy Project. The artworks all have special meanings relevant to our town. This was such a fun project to be part of from start to the installation of the works in mid May 2016.

The public art concept brings the basic principles to life through a range of art murals and a community art panel installation piece, which incorporate the new Parkes “It all adds up” brand.

The focus is to encourage people into and around the Central Business District using versatile and dynamic art to create visual interest. The idea is stroll the streets, stopping in at local shops and eateries, whilst taking in the vibrant art  – making Parkes CBD a place where the locals want to be and the visitors want to return to.
